Video Collage
Q: Are your Video
Collage presentations Power Point?
A: No, they are not Power Point presentations. The videos that I produce
are DVD productions using mpeg2 compression, similar to the DVD movies
you would buy in a store.
Q: I would like to
show the Video Collage at my reception. Do you have any packages if the
wedding video and picture/music DVD is done through you?
A: The Video Collage is included in the Basic Package. However, If you
wish to show the Video Collage at your reception, there is a $25 fee to
cover the extra work and materials to have your Video Collage produced
separately and ahead of time.
Q: What is the best
way to show you the sequence of my photos for my Video Collage?
A: The best way I've found how to do this is by
writing the number on a post-it note
then apply the
post-it to the back of the photo. Never apply the post-it to the front
of the photo or write on the post-it with the post-it already stuck to
the photo, as both may cause damage to the photograph.
Wedding Video
Q: Can I play my
wedding video on my computer or laptop?
A: If your computer or laptop has a DVD player that is able to read
DVD+R disks, then it should be able to play your wedding video.
Q: Do you reuse your
wedding videotapes?
A: For weddings, I do not. Previously recorded wedding tapes are
typically kept for 6 months to a year, and then they are erased or
disposed of. Every wedding gets a new set of premium quality tapes.
Q: Can you produce a
wedding video in widescreen format?
A: Yes, the cameras I use can record in the 16:9 widescreen format.
Q: What if our
wedding day is longer than the coverage time in our package?
A: We are usually generous with our time. If distance is not out of
reason, time and mileage to the rehearsal is not charged. And up to 2
hours of pre-work on the wedding day is not charged. If however, if the
wedding runs long and/or the reception runs long, extra charges will
accrue at the rate of $50 per hour. And all final charges and fees
must be paid in full before a project is
delivered.
Miscellaneous
Q: What kind of
video cameras do you use?
A: My cameras are pro-consumer cameras using 3-chip technology. They are all digital and
record on Mini-DVD tapes.
Q: Can I purchase
the original tapes that you record on?
A: Yes. If you wish to purchase the raw footage of your wedding, you
need to make prior arrangements with me.
Q: How durable are
the DVD+R disks that you use?
A: Writable DVD disks are very sensitive to improper handling and
adverse conditions than the prerecorded disks you buy at the store. Keep
them out of the sunlight and hot areas. These disks are extremely
sensitive to direct sunlight. Avoid touching the underside of
the disk while handling it.
Q: What do you mean
Color Correction?
A: Some photographs after time will show signs of fading. They may have
a yellow cast to the overall image. Basic Color Correction helps to
bring back the colors that have been faded of time. In most cases they
are as colorful as the day they were taken.
Q: What do you mean
by Color Balance?
A: Some images may look to the blue side, skin tone appear cool, not
warm. This may be due to the lighting conditions or film quality of the
original photo. Color Balancing helps bring all the colors in the image
back to an even field, warming things back up.
